I wish it had that weird silent film look that the original had -that was phenomenal. Still, it looks good, if a tad conventional. Big plus: 3-D IMAX!

I thought it was cool until that big dblue/beatrepeat at the end.

The original is a cult classic, the new one still looks weird enough to be a must-see. IMAX Threedeepio it shall be!

Good Stuff!
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

The music in the trailer shouldn't be taken as heavily representative of the score as a whole. While I'm sure they were involved in the music for the trailer, trailer music is highly, highly functional in nature, and therefore bound to be pretty formulaic, etc.

Like here, the glitchy stuff at the end is kind of interesting, but the rest is just normal trailer stuff. Some poundy drums for the montage, a build to a sting at the climax of the trailer, etc.

Don't get me wrong. I'm as excited as anyone both for the score and the movie itself, but keep in mind that it's just a trailer!

another point.

hybrid worked on scores but with harry gregson williams. i would be very sceptical that they would be let loose on the whole thing without a seasoned pro there, especially on a tentpole movie like this. however, i have yet to see full details of the score. so if anyone has any news - spill it.

BTW the score sounds very williams / zimmer.
