Can someone please help me finish a track?!

Post by Jimmyprice » Tue Mar 09, 2010 11:49 pm

Hey every one Im trying to make a jackin house track. Its kind of an indian style track mixed with a jackin house haha its hard to explain but for some reason i cant make it sound how i want it. It sounds weak and kind of plain, it would be great if some1 could give it a listen and give me some advice on beefing it up or maybe a link to some tutorial videos/forums? Cheers i would appreciate any advice a lot

it needs more room, too much different elements. and for me the mix isn't balanced (the "weird" voice snippets are too loud for me)

Try eq'ing the lower frequencies from those sounds that do not need it. Also a bit of compression over the master outs to pull it all together.
