I have just grabbed the windows 7 (rc) and just cant seem to get live to see the vsti vaz 2010. It reports it as not installed properly but energy xt See's it and loads it no problem and also the stand alone version works in w7 as well. Any ideas compatibility mode does not show up in the properties box. Any ideas how to get live to see it.
Also has anyone got the virtual windows xp shell running in w7 interested in that one but am a bit lost as to go about it.

Try this.
Shut down live. Then go to the VST folder in Windows. Take out the VST.
Start live again and close it again. Put the VST back in the folder. Re-open Live.
This worked for me in the past.

Thanks for the reply sadly this does not work
I tried also to uninstall vaz open up live and then reinstall vaz, live still reports vaz not properly installed on start up but energy xt can see and load up the same dll. Going to drop the vaz developer a line, will be sorry to stop using this synth used it for a long long time.

Ive just sorted this problem myself on Win7 64bit
Vaz mod will only run in current Live8 if I completely disable UAC. Though runs fine in current EnergyXT and Fruityloops whatever UAC setting.
Am I alone on this?

I installed Native Instraments Kore 4 and tried to locate this via Live 8.1.1. and live crashed and now will not open, I was unable to locate any of my plugings in live 8.1.1. before the crash (running windows 7)and now have nothing to make music on. Spent a lot of cash to spend past two weeks problem solving from installation onwards. Now waiting for support from ableton on this matter. I assume I will be reinstalling (again) and no doubt have the same issues trying to use plugings within ableton (again). Waste of money and time! Never had these problems with my older live set up at all.
