Hey all,
I have changed my DAW and now using ableton for everything, I want to get the most out of my elektron kit, I would love to here your suggestions.
I find I'm stuck between triggering the elektrons sequencer or drawing in that info into live's clips.
I like the quick work flow and random results of sound design of working from the elektrons sequencer, though mono will start up and play regardless when I hit the space bar.
is it possible to trigger monos patterns as I need them from midi clips (not having the sequence always playing)?
is it possible to not trigger mono from midi clips, like mute tracks?
cheers
anyone here own a monomachine?

Welcome.
Personally, I think anyone who gets an elektron box and DOESN'T use the sequencer is flat out crazy, that's what makes Elektron stuff so damn cool. But, horses for courses, that's just my opinion.

Thanks for welcome,
I had a similar post on elektron forum & didn't get a reply, so I thought I would ask here.
Can I do this with mono?
cheers

Thats the thing I love the sequencer, but I just cant figure out how I am going integrate it, like machinedrum you can use midi data to start, stop, play desired length of patterns, or not play anything.Personally, I think anyone who gets an elektron box and DOESN'T use the sequencer is flat out crazy, that's what makes Elektron stuff so damn cool.
