to be honest, I don't get it. It just seems like a personal web page, which is nice. But as a project...ummm I'm feeling a little flat and un-interested. What exactly is the project anyways ? Basically some tunes you made ? I guess when you got some tunes hosted it might make more sense.

Whatever the project is, I'd give it it's own dedicated web space - and perhaps link to your personal spaces from there. Combining the two ? No thanks. I'm not really interested in an artists favourite colour, his hopes & aspirations, or snaps he took on holiday. Not in amongst the artwork anyway.

Maybe I need to browse some more

looking forward to the tunes though!

thanks for the feedback

hey dun - i understand your angle but yeah, it is totally a personal web page - a total contrast to the other projects that i have done where i had to spend years writing endless sponsorship applications and writing to companies for support and be careful of my wording or presentation of what i was doing with every representation of the project - and that included not being able to combine the seriousness of the projects with my own personal humour/angle on things

i emailed this to friends and just thought i'd stick it up here - my goal is to do nothing more than travel, meet people and have some adventures ...make some tunes with people i meet - and see what songs other people make with samples that im collecting on the way .. instead of doing this as a solely web based collaboration -

infact one of the rules im making for myself at the moment is that im only gonna use (and let other people use) samples that i ve collected with people that i meet - maybe some one i meet will put a friend onto it in another country and they might say, hey come visit ... etc etc .. you get the idea - they can take a look at the site - its nothing too serious ... yah de yah

and if i get some money from it at some point, id like to put up some studio spaces for friends to use etc

i was discussing with a friend whether i needed to put a site up as i really was doing this for myself and she said i should as you never know what help will come from it - i do understand about you not being interested in an artists favourite colour and holiday pics - but i guess my mates are interested to see my pics and maybe people that i meet on the way will be too

thanks for the input though man

Not bad for a personal site but wouldn't facebook page or group be better suited?

ok, I getcha... I was really perplexed, thought I was missing something. The page is grand by the way. My observations might have been cold & clinical, but I thought that might be of more use to you. For what it is it's a nice page though... just a little confusing given the introduction...

*staying tuned*

no man - just thanks for taking time to give your angle - im sure the content of it will change over time - like i said it's been something that i ve been thinking of doing for years and then got a rush of blood and put the site together over 2 days and stuck it up on the net

maybe i' ll make the intro a little clearer

The pictures in the slideshows are kind of small. Is there a way to make them bigger when using that feature of iWeb?

I am also using Safari. To me they are just small enough to squint or move closer to the screen. Maybe there is a feature in Safari that would make them bigger. Nice job though. Did you like using iWeb?

weird man - they re ok here except a couple which are small but still big enough to see

yeah using i-web was fine .. i have no clue about the html, flash, dreamweaver etc and for the last project it meant a lot of time sitting with someone while they done the outlay as i wanted it and i always had to be asking someone to make changes instead of being able to do it myself - and as most people were working for free then i could nt hassle anyne too much

this was the first time i'd ever opened i-web - it's a piece of cake
