running more than two audio interfaces at once

Post by jamief » Wed Mar 17, 2010 7:32 am

I,m about to get a new firewire 16channel input mixing desk and audio interface all rolled into one :D Cool !
It has 18 channel input into live butonly has one stereo output rerouted back to the desk ( bah ! ). I some time's send some tracks from within live to outboard fx with my cuurent 4 out firewire card but obviously with the limitions of just a stereo output mix back to this new desk this makes things slightlymore limited.I have worked out how to you one of the three possible monitor mix outs to became a aux send as a work around but.........

My question is can i run both audio device's at the same time in live ?
The firewire desk also has a firewire in and out for daisy chaining and my computer has two full size firewire 800,s

Is it possible ?

best

On Mac OS X, use the aggregate device editor from AudioMidiSetup. On a Windows Pc, try using the Asio4All driver.
