Re: Sixth beta of upcoming bugfix update! Live 8.1.2b6!
Is it a bug if i leave live open for a few hours the GUI starts to lock up etc, only seemed to notice this with the latest b6 beta
Re: Sixth beta of upcoming bugfix update! Live 8.1.2b6!
Does anyone experiment this strange behaviour? in Live 8.1.2b6
This happens in my situation:
1 Load a vst intrument , in my case fm8
2 Add a 3th party plugin, (happens with a lt of plugs)
3 Fiddle with the knobs of the 3th party plugin.
result: the meters in ableton's mixer freeze, cpu stutters, sound stutters, end of experiment.

Probably not the same problem, but when I drag a knob or a fader, while the mouse button is pressed, Live's GUI sort of locks up. When mouse button is released, everything returns to normal. No cpu/sound stutter but it's annoying nonetheless.drako wrote:Does anyone experiment this strange behaviour? in Live 8.1.2b6

Have this with Live 8 all the time (at least once every second/third day i use it). It drives me mad because it so fucking annoying and kills all the fun in making music. Have not tried the the beta yet, but i had this in every version of Live until yet.drako wrote:Does anyone experiment this strange behaviour? in Live 8.1.2b6

Solved the cpu overload by disabling a bad coded plug probably, the rest of the problem still remains ( a GUI that locks up when adjusting values)h4nc0 wrote:Probably not the same problem, but when I drag a knob or a fader, while the mouse button is pressed, Live's GUI sort of locks up. 8.1.2b7 is the same as b6 right? hence no release notes?
Re: Sixth beta of upcoming bugfix update! Live 8.1.2b6!
Same thought over here, anybody knows the expiration date of the "b7"?Sureno wrote:8.1.2b7 is the same as b6 right? hence no release notes?
hey Abes, shouldn`t you at least give us rough roadmap ybout where we are heading, or have you been out of office for the musikmesse?
One post, One date, ONE LOVE
and i guess some of us will be pleased. Maybe a release note stating:"We did not have the time to put together a new beta" as an extra? The date gives me sumthin to hold on
Cheers and keep up the goodness I really like that peace of software, though for stability reasons i am still on 8.08 since it works like charm with a crash just every 3-4 days. Want to transfer directly to 8.2 as soon as its out.
