I just heard of the SPL Attacker and that SPL had a deal that ends tonight.
The SPL attacker for free basically.
http://www.spl.info/software/download/attacker4free.php
But logic didn't show the activation screen that would generate the challenge code in order to get the response code and i don't have Live on this comp right now. I then emailed them and within 20 minutes i got an answer to change the date in order to force the plug-in to end the trial period. I just did and the plug-in works like a charm!
A Monday, after work hours and a plug-in that´s free. And i still got an answer in less then 20 minutes. That deserves cred!... A good plug, great service...and super deal

...
i thought i´d share!

Just want to bump this - just got great and fast support from SPL even though I only use the free Attacker and am not a paying customer yet... but their support leaves a great positive impression...

i have to add that i got help with the SPL Attacker when i had to get my MBP serviced for the nvidia problem.
the computer, of course, generated a new machine id which made the spl attacker revert to demo mode.
i got a new response code and the dude answered me on a saturday and the best thing is, i never asked for a new response code, i just wondered if the plugin was locked again.
SPL = the shit!!!

Exactly the same happened to me. Same nvidia problem. Same fast SPL support.

I also dig the freeranger EQ, it only has 4 fixed bands, but it does sound beautiful musical and does wonders on kick drums. love that little freebee.
