Seeking 'Firebox Death' Sample.

Post by UKRuss » Thu Mar 18, 2010 12:51 pm

I understand the Firebox makes a strange organic sound on death, does anybody know where I can get a sample of this please?

if I ever do give in and smash mine with a hammer, as I've threatened so many times, I'll be sure to make sure it's recording at the time.

I too have heard of this fabled noise - not quite a sine wave, more organic than that...

Send me £200 and I'll see what I can do!

If you're willing to fund my time machine research I know an exact point in the space-time continuum we could travel to and collect and perfect sample.

Old chinese proverb say,

He who records his colleagues firebox dying cannot expect to sit at that mans dinner table without the subject coming up.

"Umm, I heard the new Blackeyed Peas song the other day and couldn't help but notice that the main sample sounded just like that recording you made of my Firebox dying. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that would you?"
