Using apc40 for EQ-ing 2 tracks together...?

Hi folks,

was wondering- does anyone use the Apc40 as mixer when DJ-ing, and I mean specifically for eq'ing 2 tracks simultaneously, so tweaking the bass on channel 1 whilst lowing bass on another channel... It seems with no logical eqs including eq kills on each channel you either have to do one track at a time which is not very organic or use some workaround... I would love to know what peeps work around is or if in
fact most people are using hardware
mixers for this type of thing?

Select a send bank you dont use, then assign using MIDI assign top row of pots/knobs to the eq in one track (whether you use 3 or 4 knob eq's) then the next row to the other track. allows you to control two tracks of eq's simultaneously. enjoy

nice one very good idea! Have you got any idea's how you might be able to do this WHILST sending to the master and making the most of the Cross fader function? I was thinking perhaps remapping the Crossfader to the levels on 2 seperate channels and calling them A and B, perhaps and doing it that way? But then that leaves the problem of rerouting audio from the feeder channels to the new A and B's - if that makes sense?? I guess you could always duplicate all the clip in a Live set so any given clip is set to transmit to A or B but then I guess much more processing?

I'm assuming the the built-in A and B routing if permanently wired to the Master?
