Search field doesn't work

Post by Airbase » Sat Mar 20, 2010 11:14 am

Tried to search for a solution but found nothing.

So Ableton 8.1.1 is now up and running on my new iMac. I've installed my plugins for a few hours now and I just noticed that the search field in the Plugin menu gives no hits even though I can see them in there when not searching. What's up with that?

Anyone heard of this and/or know a solution?

Hmm..Strange..Live 8.1.1 on MBP here, everything works fine..I tried with Ableton's effects and instruments, with 3rd party effects and instruments (tried both with VST's and AU's) and everything works fine..
Are you having problem with 3rd party plugins search or Ableton's native or both?

Working fine here, sounds to me like an indexing issue, maybe checking the Preferences on the File Folder Tab
Congrats on the new iMac, I desperately want the 27" i7 ... still saving some $
