whoa, ocp, there are some choice pieces of kit in that studio of yours! Red Square, Gameboy, spring king and some TC... very nice...

But let me ask you why on earth your dd3 isn't circuitbent? It's the easiest bend in the world! About 20% of all possible connections kick a** on that thing, esp. if you're into the whole 4-bit sound - which you must be if you're running nanoloop ;)

I might buy one of those new cheap stomp boxes by Behringer and mod it. I'd hate to ruin my DD3 :)

yeah, in this particular case I hope they've done a 1:1 copy ;) Although I sincerely doubt it. I reckon the DD3-clone can be built a lot cheaper these days with more up-to-date components. Esp. ram is a lot cheaper now than when the dd3 came out.

...btw if you want to hear my bent dd3, there's a sample here: http://ampfea.org/2/1269

-sample at will. ;)

Be a good idea to throw one of those bricks under the monitors, I use
them with balls of bluetac to isolate the monitors from the desk. Stops
standing waves, resonance, early reflections etc.

Monitors

Post by xpl2003 » Thu Apr 07, 2005 6:02 pm

Hey MrYellow

Are you talking about Adonis setup, the one with the monitors on the large desk with 4 legs?

If so could you explain your technique for improving the monitors?

I seem to be getting a similar thing with losing bass and funny frequency with vibrations/loss of bass with my monitors on a similar desk.

Any help would be great - Thanks!

Or should i get some speaker stands?
