I've seen a performance like this a couple of times, might even be the same fellow. Very cool, especially if you're a sci-fi & horror film fan!

Here's an article on the chap who made all the electrical mad scientist equipment for "Frankenstein" (1931), "Bride of Frankenstein" (1935), up to Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein" (1974).

There's a guy in Aussie who does fire shows at festivals, gas pipes that shoot flames and play notes/tunes etc. One of you Ockers might be able to furnish his name... anyway, he's incredible, but the funny thing is he's the exact spitting image of this guy:
