That's because (I'm pretty sure), the slice to midi uses the original sample/clip..
Once you get the pitch right maybe the best thing to do would be to resample it and use the new sample to slice?
Just my thoughts on this.. There may be a better way..

also you can just transpose one slice, context-click and select "apply to siblings".

Ohh that's good! Oh to the original poster. Consolidate the clip in arrange will make the transpose permanent before you slice

You might wanna make a slicing preset with the transpose field on a sampler mapped to a macro on drum rack.

This is the way you need to do it to have the chops time stretched to the correct tempo.

what do you mean by resample? render?

Either record (vis "resampling") to another track or Freeze + Flatten (at the desired final tempo)

The thing about Live (and I suppose most DAWs) Is that there are many different ways to reach what you want to achieve..

What I like about 'resampling' is that I can record ALL of the properties of the audio track that I desire. ie any arrangement automation or clip envelope tomfuckery, returns etc.. If I choose..

You have to find the way that's 'best' for you.. And obviously the techniques will change depending on what you want your 'end result' to be..
