Slicing to midi

Post by tommytinker » Tue Mar 23, 2010 8:58 pm

Hi

Was wondering if there was a quick and easy way to do this, like slicing audio to midi...

I have a sample, and i want to slice it to midi, but i dont want the samples to cut off before the next slice, i would like each key on my keyboard to play from each transient, to the end of the sample?

Thanks

you can make a slicing preset for that... i think.

i'm hazy on specifics, but it's hella fun. Take an empty simpler and set it how you want it, then drag it into the slicing folder in the library. I don't know if that's going to apply to the end time. I think you'll end up slicing to midi and then manually moving the end times if you really want to do it. Shouldn't be a problem unless you are slicing to 100 pieces or something.

watcha up to?

why was slice to 'single sampler, use warp markers' not working for you?
