I just upgraded to Live 8 Suite from Live 7 and when I am supposed to set my library, I see that I'm supposed to upgrade it and that this library might not be compatible with previous sets.
Should I go ahead and set the library and upgrade it?
or
Should I do something else?
It is quite important that I avoid any conflicts with sets made in Live 7 (which all of my sets are saved as, since I haven't used 8 yet).

Just Upgraded to Live 8 from 7 - gotta question..
Re: Just Upgraded to Live 8 from 7 - gotta question..
Once you have upgraded your library to Live 8, you can no longer use it with Live 7. So if you expect to continue using Live 7, you should copy your library, upgrade one of the copies, and keep the other for use with Live 7.
Live 8 can open sets created with Live 7, but the reverse is not true.

I would set my library to a new location for Live 8 and leave vers 7 library in tack. All your sets for 7 will be okay until you save them in ver 8. Then you won't be able to use them in 7.

create a new library / select a different location for 8's library so it doesn't mess up anything in your current *working* sets
