Crave Bass? Tommorow 3.24.10 @ Coco66 BK

I'm excited to announce the second coming of The Vectory. Inspired by cutting-edge electronic music coming out of California and and the UK, along with Brooklyn's own musical breadth and depth, The Vectory explores the sonic intersection of beats, bass, and live instrumentation, all through an excellent soundsystem.

We'll start the evening with a duo set between me on cello and Dan Gould on drums, combining beats I made last month, live cello remixing and Dan's hard-hitting, groove-oriented drumming. Following us will be the soaring and absorbing sonics of Ganucheau (http://www.ganucheau.com ), nominal member of NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program and a creator of crystalline, enigmatic beats and textures. The crescendo of the night, Brooklyn's own Matt Shadetek (http://www.duttyartz.com ), will raise the intensity with his original take on tropical funk, dubstep, dancehall and UK Funky. Finally, Vectory stalwart Greenways8(http://www.greenways8.com) will close the evening with a beats-and-breaks DJ set, accentuated with live guitar.

Throughout the evening, !INCLUDE will provide segue music and our visualist Housewives Guide to Anatomy will integrate scenes of fighting animals, early cinema and personal nostalgia to coincide with the peaks and valleys of the night's music.
