Launchpad question

Post by djsynchro » Mon Mar 22, 2010 9:20 pm

I'm doing a little interactive installation thngy for a party Saturday with the Launchpad, I just want to have the grid buttons enabled for visitors to trigger clips.
(EDITED)
If I MIDI-map the CURSOR and USER buttons to something else they start flashing WTF? I'd like to have their LEDs off.

I guess he prefer to midi map every knob to avoid erratic behavior from the curious audience

indeed when you midi map the LP, every pads flash when they've been activated and then off.

If you got Max4Live then you have a soluce, if not you'll have to deal with it

Sorry I meant I want to remap the CURSOR and the USER buttons so they don't function and are unlit. The grid buttons are fine of course.

Man I don't know how [yes me tired] but I was talking about the function buttons... I've played a bit by midi map those and it always turns to flash, once I've triggered one.

Got an idea>>> Midi map pads on empty cases [with no clips]!

It would do the job>>> they will be mapped but will not trigger anything.
It should erase the Lp default function for those pads

Now I hope it can helps
