so you sent it mono signals for Left & Right, recorded the output separately, and summed back to stereo in ableton or whatever - right ?

yep

really tho without taking the piss it does sound good.. maby at times not.. distorting.. but giving it a little bit of drive/push.
only problem is i get a shit load of noise from my moog, i have it on a different loop from all my other equipment but theres still a lot of crap happening .

my speakers pick up the ground loop shite aswell.

I ran into a ground-loop problem with a G2-rack, whenever I would connect it via usb to edit patches. My solution was to connect it to an old iBook for patch editing.

Not a great solution, because I'd prefer to edit the patches on the same machine I use for recording etc. But anything is better than ground-noise.



At the time, when I looked into ground issues, the solutions people were using put me off... solutions which involved tampering with ground wires etc.
Have you done much research on solving this problem ?
