Transposing and Sampler/Theory Question
Transposing and Sampler/Theory Question
Ok, so say I have a sample and I transpose it down a semi tone and we will say that the original sample was in E minor. Does this mean the new key would be E flat minor? If I had transposed it down a full tone, would it be in d minor?

Thanks.
Ok so, is there any way to get from a minor to a major key?

Re: Transposing and Sampler/Theory Question
Not easily. you can...
Sample a major key instead, or...
Sample an individual note and play chords, thus giving you control over the key, or...
I think there's a waves plugin that does this (autotune maybe? not sure).
