lots of crashes in live 8.1.1

mac 2.66 ghz dual core
osx 10.5.8 4 g ram
motu 828 firewire soundcard


what's going on ?
live is so unstable i have to save every 2 mins
and when it reboots after a crash it's way behind in the history.

Hi Dave,

sorry to hear about your crashes. If you´re using AU plug-ins, please give this workaround a try, it might already take care of some of the crashes:

Or, if you don´t mind installing a beta, you might want to give 8.1.b3 a try, it contains numerous bugfixes:

Include your log.txt from here:
user/library/preferences/ableton/live 8.1.1

and a .zip file of your crash-log folder:
user/library/logs/crash-reporter
