good idea but it's the ones without a sense of netiquette that do this and they're the least likely to follow any suggestions.

Most of the gear is old enough to drink... no kitties, though (sadly).
What desks are you using? And what monitor stands are those?

Looks great!

Looking at these again, can you post of pic of the parts of the room we can't see? I thought you had a 4x4 ikea shelf on top of a 2x4, but I see that there's another one off to the right. And the end of it is only one thick board two. How do you have that setup?

Desks as in the furniture? It's all heavily modified IKEA. The mixer is sitting on an IKEA Jerker desk. I moved the tabletop forward and the shelf backward to make space for the mixer, and I built the keyboard drawer from a spare shelf I had.

The Novation keyboard and the DJ rig are sitting on tops from IKEA coffee tables, which are sitting on two Ultimate keyboard stands.

The speaker stands are some random 36" metal stands I got off zZounds.com 6 years ago.

@e.g.:

That's a crazy live rig.. My drummer wants a some rack's for his drum's but the sickest part would be mounting some MIDI controllers, SPD-s, laptop all onto the one unit.. but it'd probably prove to be way too much. That's a crazy setup though, it's a rack from an electronic drumset right? just not all the parts attached.

Thanks for the compliments folks.

Yes, it's a Roland e-drum rack. Was fun conceiving and setting up. The monitor on the front plays video while I perform. I hand out WiiMotes to the audience so they can participate. The WiiMotes control synth params and percussion. Lotsa fun.

The men's room at one of the venues was perfect for a shoot. Inspiration strikes in unusual places, no?

Hey altus, those hardware racks of yours, what brand are they? Mine is a QuikLok, and it's poop. I need two more, but loathe the thought of buying another.

Do you have any performance vids?
