Really Simple Question...

...that for some reason I cannot figure out the solution to. I am running Live 4 on a G4 PowerBook OS 10.3.8 and I cannot figure out how to send MIDI to my external synthesizer. I have chosen my device (MOTU Fastlane) in the MIDI Output devices in Preferences and when I record something and play it back, I get a level the mixer section but I don't get a signal in the MIDI out indicator. Am I missing something really obvious here?

Guess you have to set the "Midi to" for the track to the midi out device.
