Your advice on max 4 live...

I am tempting to buy it but....
Is it stable?
Should i wait how it works 8.1.2? (i am on 8.1.2b7 and still betatesting)

if Live 8.1 is stable on your machine you'll probably be fine. it seems that there's still some development left but it's with stuff that a user starting out wouldn't be affected by. mostly the Live API documentation is done yet, or there's more to come, they've only hinted at it.

if you can wait, lurk to see when someone sells it, many have. make some noise for people to notify you when they see a sale.
