APC40 - lights stopped working on one Device Control knob

Hi,

A glitch that has just developed on my APC40:

The ring of green lights surrounding one of the 8 Device Control knobs have stopped working. Or rather, the lights work (they illuminate when the APC40 is switched on but not connected to Live) but when working with Live they are not working on this particular know. The knob itself is working fine and is recognised by Live but the lights are not.

All the other 7 knobs are fine.

Anyone have a fix for this or experienced the same thing?

Thanks for your help. I think you have the answer there with the Midi settings...

I had the Midi settings for the APC40 set up as:
INPUT Track: On / Sync: Off / Remote: On
OUTPUT Track: On / Sync: Off / Remote: On

If I change the output remote setting to 'Off' the problem with the device control knob is fixed - the lights are working now. Should I have had the output remote set to 'Off' all along?

The fault definitely feels like a 'bug' because it only occurs (I think) in one of my Live Sets. It seemed to start just after I'd done some Midi mapping but I can't see anything else strange going on. I'm not using Max For Live.
