8.1.3 legacy hq?

Under options menu, there is a option you can choose called legacy hq mode, by default switched on.
What is this?
Never seen it before.

it's a Live 7 feature.

there's the new Hi-Q mode introduced in Live 7 and then there's the old hi-q modes, this supports the latter or else they'd sound strange.

It's described on pages 112-113 of the Live 8 manual.
