I have to say that I sometimes have weird non-reproducable crashes with Live and Reason. Reason never crashes when running on it's own, but when Live crashes, ASIO is hanging, my whole systems breaks down. Windows2000, 768 MB ram, optimized for audio, running smoothly normaly.
The things which might happen when Live and Reason are shaking rewire hands:
- copying a Live effect (for example Vinyl Distortion) to another track: bang Live is gone. No errors shown, it just disappeared!
- changing the Clip length in the arranger: bang Live is gone. No errors shown, it just disappeared!
This might be caused by a hickup in the Rewire2 audio stream without the right error handling, but well... the programmers should know better than I of course
Good luck solving it. This might be very hard, but hopefully Live with Reason will become stable one day.
I have the impression that with Rewire2 is more unstable, but I am not absolutely sure.
