Close without save confirmation?

Post by Dombleton » Tue Mar 30, 2010 2:16 pm

hello,

I use autohotkey to open each project for each song individually on stage.
So when the track is over I quickly press alt+f for example to open the next track but it always asks for saving confirmation

I was wondering if there is an option to stop live asking me if I want to save changes as this would allow for a much easier transition between pieces.

I looked around and had a google but cant find anything.

cheers!

only 2 clicks away...(right +enter)... can't be more than 1 second ?
I'm betting you can also automate that using ahk

ah yes hadnt thought of automating that with ahk.
Bit of a delay between choosing next project and save box appearing though. I'll have to have a think about that.

Could easily make it just one button press i guess.

ctrl+S saves your project in no time then you're sure that will not bother you with autokey

yes indeed.. and i know it sometimes hurts to copy your project folder but you should do it.

Keep a backup of your liveset and play with the other copy>>> no problem with saving then.

Hey Dombleton:

When the Save dialog comes up, you can always press 'd' to choose "Don't Save" (Assuming you are using Live in English).

Does this help?

Best, Tobias

Ah I didn't know you could just press 'n'
That does make it a little easier.

Cheers!
