Lease Ableton?!?!
In calculating how much money ill be able to spend next month i came up with this ingenues idea. Leasing ableton!
I know this isn't usually done with software, but it seems like a pretty good idea.
+1 if you you want ableton to see this.

It's just like renting instead of buying (a house).. after a certain amount of time you'd already have spent enough to buy the thing, but you wouldn't own it then..gersty2 wrote:In calculating how much money ill be able to spend next month i came up with this ingenues idea. Leasing ableton!

buy it from a shop on credit
Re: Lease Ableton?!?!
maybe i got my words mixed up but i was thinkin like renting deal except that the money you spend goes twords buying it. so like if you have spent however much ableton costs on renting it you would then own it... like what they do for cars.

Rent To Own.
I had sort of a similar idea, in that you could start out with buying Ableton Intro, and then buy "sections" of Ableton as you can afford it. Like adding an instrument here and there, more Effect Returns, etc... A lot of people can't afford to drop $400+ on some software. Myself included. And this would be a cost effective way of upgrading over time. Of course, there's probably no way of doing something like this, but it's a nice idea =o]
