Alright Folks,
Am pretty new to using ableton and this controller and even tho i have searched the internet for video's and tutorials on this to help me, i couldn't find any thing that could answer some of the simplest questions.
If possible, could ne 1 on here who can answer my questions, plz do so. I no these questions may be very basic to many of the users of this site and on ableton, but bear in mind plz that we all have to start at the bottom.
1) When reassigning a fader, button or fader on the vcm, does it have to be set to a certain setting, i.e. on controller or in ableton. When i have tried to reassign things, the original parameter in ableton is also still being controlled by that fader, button etc.
2) the eq controllers are at 0 db in ableton when the controller are like 3/4 of the way round. Is there a way i can set this so that when the nobs are central the eq inside ableton is at 0db?
3) When assigning fx's or plug in's to a track, i noticed that people have reassigned some of the unwanted controllers such as master and crossfader etc. But when i have tried this, them controllers only attach them selves to that specific plug in. Is there a way i can set all them controlls to the same plug ins on different tracks and just press a button to change which set of plug in's am using.
