Unauthorized arming all tracks

Post by octaver » Thu Apr 01, 2010 12:44 am

Hello, all.

When i record midi or automation in arrangement view on one track, all tracks,
inclusive data (audio and midi) arming occurs.
And result is erasing automation on these tracks  .
I don't understand why it happens.
Interesting, but on the desktop PC with the same set of Preferences it not occurs (only current track
recording occurs).
I read manual, but nothing found to help in my case.
Can anyone explain me what is it, what i'm doing wrong :?:

Thanks in advance.

Alex.

to ShelLuser: OVR turned off actually.

I underdstand one thing, it happens ONLY with plugged 3X Bitstream controller.
When i turn it off and use mouse only all right, Ableton's behavior don't exceed the bounds of manual
(no arming all tracks, automation record occurs on current track only and no overriding/erasing automation data on another tracks).

Also i see that button Back to Arrangements lights up, i press
the button, Ableton midi event-indication occurs and it lights up again.

I'm far from being midi-pro, but i sure it is midi related issue.

3X Bitstream controller is in Standart Mode, connected with laptop via usb, minimal midi assignments
- Vol and Pan controls of 6 tracks on 1 midi-channel.

Midi-Guru help please!

Alex
