Re: Experiment with Chords n Stuff
the process works. nice track, listened to it twice.
dunno if you were looking for feedback on the song, the writing or what? seems like a rough draft using a new technique? good writing, I'd change out some of the instruments and polish it a bit but from your Sound Cloud writing you might be looking for something else.
digging the hi-hats.
maybe put some swing on some parts, they can sound a bit too programmed.
good writing.

Re: Experiment with Chords n Stuff
Thanks for the feedback Tone. I had spotted you had listened to it on Soundcloud.
It was a slightly different approach to what I've done in the past. I hope to pick up with it (after a small break) and really finish it off. What I'm trying to do these days, in terms of the creation process, is to do a lot with a little. Sometimes I'm worried about not doing enough though and ending up with a track which doesn't tell a story or have much direction. This is all part of the fun though! It's also the first tune I put together in collaboration with someone else, under the guise of technitalfunk. The following blog post tells a bit of the story, http://torodelfunk.com/the-latest-from-the-batcave. Thanks for hints and tips though!
