I am in the process of complimenting my SSL with Ableton Suite 8 on the DJ side of the house and moving forward. I have been able to make a fairly simple DJ setup: 2 channel A/B and two additional channels to record live samples through (see image).
Two questions:
- When I record, there is a delay. I have changed the quantization preference to 1/8, but it will not take even on normal clips added.
- If...when I make a mistake, I would like to delete using the APC40, dividing my time between the keyboard and the APC40. I am trying to move completely off the keyboard. How do I delete using the APC40?
