Re: what guitar effects do you use?
how will i know if it is stand-alone?
I can't here output sound from my input device like microphone or guitar. I can only the noise.
I have realtek audio driver but i tried to install ASIO4ALL because i read it somewhere i think its for better output sound.

Re: what guitar effects do you use?
Do you open Live or any VST aware application (cubase etc.) to gain access to the GUI of the program or do you run it from the start menu directly?dacoda wrote:how will i know if it is stand-alone?

Re: what guitar effects do you use?
Open Live first, then drag GR into an audio channel and use it that way. Still have the problem?
Re: what guitar effects do you use?
exactly. try this first. (and this was what I meant by asking "stand alone" or "VST")
another thing is to slide "preset volume" to left and then increase volume slowly. perhaps you can remove the tape deck for testing.

I didn't see audio channel here..
Re: what guitar effects do you use?
Do you own Ableton Live software?
Re: what guitar effects do you use?
I use Fractal Axe-FX, such a great gear! Now I integrated Ableton Live in my setup, using the looper is so fun, the FCB1010 controls the Axe-FX and Live.

My music : Soundcloud

THIS of course is the best thing besides "moving air" but it is a matter of budget, too!yop44 wrote:I use Fractal Axe-FX, such a great gear! Now I integrated Ableton Live in my setup, using the looper is so fun, the FCB1010 controls the Axe-FX and Live.

Re: what guitar effects do you use?
After i installed Guitar Rig, the output is only noise even if i haven't plug in any input device.
Re: what guitar effects do you use?
I think you're after the 'Native Instruments' forum...
Re: what guitar effects do you use?
I've installed the demo and what I see is that there's an initial routing which sends the out back to in. this causes a slowly rising feedback. reduce gain and output, then have a look at ASIO4ALL configuration and GR4's routing.
yep. try here: http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/UKRuss wrote:I think you're after the 'Native Instruments' forum...

Zvex Fuzz Factory
EHX Small Stone
Boss phaser
Johnson Fifties Tremolo (has a knob to morph between triangle and square lfo)
Copilot FX Antena (ringmod that sounds like a sample-rate reducer)
some fx like digital delay sound pretty much the same in plugin versions, but those pedals all have a unique sound.
