is it just me or does the library on live 8 like to stuff u around alot, ive got the sample/clips, i do the library search says it finds the candidates, then 1 by 1 i have to hot swap add them and save this takes for ever. its even stuffing me around with the extra disc i got with my box set!

in the file browser if i go samples/waveforms/brass it has the samples but when i load them it comes up with multisample mode in simpler and says files are missing, even in the folders in the devices browser say.... Instruments/simpler and all the samples in there i can use i have to locate and do wat i mentioned before to get them working.

i have 8.1.1 atm, ive had ableton a little while but ive been very unmotivated to work with it coz of these problems, EIC is a familiar thing i keep seeing in when i try to fix my library. and id like to work with them. but im gettin problems with my samples in the simpler which is also really bothering me coz id really like to use some nice keys when working with it.

id like to think that what i have read in the manual and the lessons i have done have helped me a bit so far... i just want my samples to work lol. ill be formatting my computer tomorrow because of..... some reasons. im gonna reinstall live 8 without the EIC and see how the samples go.

can only auth twice? so if i get a totally new computer ill be screwed later on? also whats happening later on this week

ive just reinstalled live 8 and updated to 8.1.1, i wont need authentication till i upgrade my work station in a couple of months. but when updated to 8.1.1 and promted to relocate my library i just bypassed that for now and all my samples SEEM to be work so far....

still to install EIC

you are allowed to unlock on two computers, so long as you don't use them at the same time.

there are somewhat more than two unlocks before you will need to contact support, from my experience. they are always very accommodating if you have a reasonable request for more unlocks

just be careful of the weekend..
