Sweet. I bet that trem is killer.MacGuffin wrote:Zvex Fuzz Factory
EHX Small Stone
Boss phaser
Johnson Fifties Tremolo (has a knob to morph between triangle and square lfo)
Copilot FX Antena (ringmod that sounds like a sample-rate reducer)
some fx like digital delay sound pretty much the same in plugin versions, but those pedals all have a unique sound.

Re: what guitar effects do you use?
Just a thought; The initial preset might be a high gain/distortion sound, Amplitude is this way. Try switching to a clean preset or use the gate/ noise suppressor, most of them have one.dacoda wrote:I just downloaded and installed Guitar Rig Pro 4 in my computer, but when I open it,it gives a noisy output sound even if I haven't plugged my guitar in my computer. please help. I'm new to this kind of software. Thanks

Re: what guitar effects do you use?
Christopher Willits uses a Pod. Splits the signal- one guitar thru Pod the other from a midi pickup on his guitar- both into Live where he has an elaborate multi track looping setup, Operator etc. off the midi from his guitar and generative Max/M4L patches. He has a series/podcast for XLR8TR called "What You Talkin' Bout Willits" where he goes over all kinds of stuff, most of it Live related including 1 episode where he details his whole live looping setup. The 2nd link has a diagram of his setup, 3rd is the latest XLR8TR episode 14 where he talks about making weird sounds using Live's effects racks, 4th is just a Youtube search. Love this guyTarekith wrote:I like the Line 6 stuff myself, use a Pod X3 here, but I've owned all the Pods over the years. Great sound, awesome interface, simple to use.

It's very versatile, although I wish the volume modulation would go all the way to silence. I know that's not how tremolo works for guitar amps, but sometimes for electronic effects it would be nice. Maybe I could mod it?anybody human wrote:Sweet. I bet that trem is killer.MacGuffin wrote:Zvex Fuzz Factory

Worth a shot, something to investigate. This is one of the things software is great for though- tremolo. Soundtoys Tremolator, Live's Autopan w/ phase 0 or 360 (rack & map sync'd rate to controller is my fav for synth) & amp sims are all great at tremolo cos you can sync them and they go to zero.MacGuffin wrote:It's very versatile, although I wish the volume modulation would go all the way to silence.
