My Mother forgot my birthday

I dunno about you but I fook up on a grand scale often.
Dont be too quick to judge your Mum.

You clearly are in a good space and your Mum may not be. Why not ask her if everything is really ok ?

You can explain why you ask (but dont use it as a guilt trip) if she has done you good for years she don't need anything extra to add to it.

TBH I would be more concerned for my Mum.

Even though we do not get on, I actually am a bit concerned. She just turned 68. She is coming to visit next week so I will keep an eye out.

My mom forgot my birthday 2 years ago. Between that and the computer chair I got when I was 13 (what 13 yr old wouldn't want a computer chair for their birthday?) I have a lifetime of grief to give her. I also take the route of getting her something AWESOME for x-mas and her birthday, just so I can rub it in a little more.

This year I got them a flat screen TV.

"Wow, you like it? Great, now imagine if that big box would have been a chair?"
