Ableton live + Axiom 49

Anyone use this midi-keyboard with ableton? Im running ableton suite and im just wondering if people have any tips! What i dont like about my setup is having to reassign midi, sliders etc every time i want to make music. I´ve been thinking about getting a hardware synth for some time to eliminate the initial programming and go straight for the tweaking and playing with the sounds. the way i use my keyboard now is to control certain parameters after i´ve found the sound im looking for (lots of mouse scrolling until that point). Anyone have any tips to help incorporate the midi-keyboard more into the workflow?

this just takes getting used to...

personally I'm still doing the same.. as I bought an apc and it handles everything I really need to be "automatic".


but one thing to look into is "device control" for the knobs.


then start saving A BUNCH of "instrument racks" with different features macro'd.


like some with the adsr's of two oscs macrod... some with adsr set up and other effects/filters/lfo parameters macro'd.. then those knobs will be useful.


or buy an apc and just use the axiom for its keys
