8.1 and 8.1.1 suck, where can I download 8.0.x?

Live 8.1 and 8.1.1 have both been ridiculously unstable on my windows xp setup. "Serious program error"s often occur when dropping plugins on tracks, and some times even when just opening another project file. This all causes my audio output to be deactivated, and forces me to restart my machine. I've reinstalled both Live and my plugins, with no change. I have paid for this product, and I would expect it to not crash all the time!

So where can I download whatever version which came before the ridiculous 8.1 update?

Yes, I know that 8.1 projects will not open in 8.0.9. I have however finished the 8.1 projects that I wanted to finish, and I could always keep 8.1 on my machine while primarily using 8.0.9.

I'm looking forward to dropping plugins on tracks without getting serious program errors

Gah!! 8.0.9 is just as buggy when opening project files! I'm so pissed off at Ableton now!

Edit: Found 8.0.4 lying around on my external hard drive, it runs smoothly

Lol now with unableton i SAVE before ANY operations! I mean creating midi channels, dropping plugin, moving channels, changing loop sizes, it's all CRASH-GALORE

It's a very sad situation.

A couple of weeks ago, I did three hours of work, when suddenly Live crashed. "Oh well, I'll just choose to restore changes after reboot" I thought. I did that, but that also caused the project to crash, and after that, I wasn't prompted if I wanted to save the changes I had made!

I hope 8.0.4 is going to be more stable for me. I haven't done any music since I installed it.

EDIT: I was wrong about 8.0.4 being more stable. I tweaked a reverb on a MIDI channel, and tried dragging it onto a return channel. Live crashed. What the hell! GAH!

The latest Live 7 version on the other hand runs smoothly! I've dropped plugins to create new tracks, moved tracks, added effects, changed notes - all while playing in session view! Granted, I do miss track colours and the MIDI editing functionality from Live 8, but having stability again is soo nice!
