new fresh os_absynth dont load the right sounds???

hi,
i had to reinstall my os.
now i have a fresh system and fresh new ableton live 4.1.
but if i load a old song made with live 4.03 and absynth 2.0,i will become only a ugly sinus sound on the absynth tracks???
before it works good???
what can i do?

Are you using Absynth 2.0.4? If not, I would suggest updating, as it fixes a lot of bugs.

As stated before, you should update to the last version of Absynth 2 released (2.04 PC/2.05 Mac); there were a slew of bugs that got fixed or at least minimized.

For the other issue, try opening up Absynth in standalone. Are the banks being found or are you getting an 8221 error?

ok i will update next time.
stand alone works good.all banks are there.
only if i load a song made with live and absynth.absynth plays only a sinus tone.
i think i lost something from absynth.the sounds i use in the songs are own edits of the original soundbank.
i think, absynth dont know what sound iss to play with the ableton song???

If you didn't save the edited banks and did a reinstall, of course Absynth's not going to find your edits...

i think the soundnames are saved with the "als" song file.
but how can i read this?
i try it with notepad.but almost chaotic letters???
i find the absynth soundbank names!!!.-)
i need the sound names also???
any hints?

Dude, you're never going to be able to find those sounds if they aren't loading right. Update Absynth like suggested, try again. If it doesn't work, and you didn't make backups, well.... starting over can be a good thing too.

now we have absynth 2.04 and it works fine!!
we can load the old songs with all right sounds!:-)
