Looking for tips on Resampling

Post by loquat » Tue Apr 13, 2010 9:58 pm

I've been a Live user for a while now. Up until now I've always just been content freezing clips that where too heavy on CPU. But recently I picked up a couple of VST synths that are way to heavy on CPU to really play with a lot of polyphony so I've decided to try my hand at resampling. I've made a template with 128 clips from C-2 all the way up to G8 in arrangement view. I've even successfully sampled a couple of patches I like, but I would really like to get into multilayer samples. Does anyone have any hints, tricks, or tips they're willing to share? I would like to stay in Live if at all possible.
