Re: "As Sudden As" (deep house?)

The most prominent part of the track was the piano which drowns out all other parts. You need more low end on the kick for house IMO and the vocals had way too much reverb. The guitar was non existent and was off the beat when it came up. The overall groove is nice but you may want to go back and give it another go with the mix. Use a commercial track to compare with so you can reference the indie parts. 5 hrs is not nearly enough time to spend on a track but your remix should be better. I enjoyed listening nonetheless. Thanks for sharing and keep at it.

thanks for the feedback!

it's the bass that is off-beat, rather, as the rhodes and guitar are layered.

When I said off beat I talking about the timing is off when the guitar is prominent (like its solo part if I record). I you need I can listen again and get you the @ track time on SCloud.

Sounds good! The vocals are a little buried and need to be brought forward a bit, but otherwise everything sounds good. The end could use a little work, as it is so sudden. Maybe a little guitar riff to bring it to a close?
