Configure Button for plugins

I know there's an answer and after searching, I couldn't find it so let me ask:

Some plugins, if I click on the Configure button and move some knobs, there is nothing that appears. I know I read somewhere how to fix this on Mac, but how about PC? Anyone can share the tip?

I know it works with reaktor, i know it doesn't with Guru.
