I'm just wondering if there's an easier way for this:
Let's say I have a two-bar bass loop and a one-bar drum loop that I want to comprise a four-bar intro scene. At the very end of this scene I want the snare to enter as a pick up to the vamp that is the scene to follow. With my very new and limited knowledge of Ableton, the only way I can think to do this is to make a clip on the snare track that is four bars long and entirely empty until the pickup comes in at the very end.
Bonus question: how would people make the first scene transition automatically to the next at this point (if it's even possible)?
Thanks...

Re: how to place a snare lead-in at the end of an intro scene
First question:
In session mode yes: if you want hits at the end of 4 bars thats where you need to put them
(in arrangement mode you can place where you like of course as the time line is linear)
Bonus Question: Look into follow commands within clips.
