@ Jon ,

Maybe killing ourself off is in the best interest of our species? I mean, bee's are not exactly doing their habitat dirty. I've never heard a pine tree say "shiiiit. bee done do dat dirt main"

And as far as the second amendment goes...

Our entire collection of guns wont do shit against METAL STORM!

1 million rounds a minute

I think we need an amendment so that we should all be able to secure our home with metal storm!!!

If I did things like put other people's posts in my sig I would put this post in my sig. But I don't, so I will have to make do by sleeping soundly at night (with my gun) knowing that even starving student would shoot someone if he had to.

I don't think that the problem is gun ownership, I think it's training.

This is list of countries ranked by firearm homicides
http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/cri_g ... s-firearms

Notice the absence of switzerland off that list. The Swiss have a firearm in every house by law, but they have a overall murder rate which is less than the UK.

I can only think that the difference between the US and Switzerland is the compulsory firearm training.
Or perhaps the legal weed.

The 2nd amendment is the right of every US citizen to own guns originally meant to be used in defense of our country. Since then it has been perverted into the right of every idiot to own a gun just for the fuck of it. Most hardliners on this have no legitimate reason or impending threat to justify owning guns but the law of the land just lets them slide on that technicality.
It is none of the governments goddamned business whether I own a gun. And of course the reason to own a gun these days is because the U.S. government is the biggest threat to the freedom of the U.S. citizen.

One of the reasons the U.S. backed coup failed in Venezuela in 2002 is because 1,000,000 Venezuelans surrounded the presidential palace. In Venezuela an average of 1 in 4 people carry a gun, and more people have them. So when the coup plotters looked outside, they saw 1 million people and they knew there were at least 250,000 guns opposing them. In the U.S. it would be 250,000 posters/signs saying please be nice.

It's true. This is, in fact, the real purpose behind the 2nd amendment. The people have the right to be armed so that they can protect themselves when the government won't protect them, or if the government itself becomes the aggressor.

so how come the first black president wasn't allowed to be angry huh?
john mccain was allowed to be angry as he wanna be, pound the podium blah blah frown say anything grit his yellow ass teethe, but obama, that m/fckr had to do the best will smith impersonation you've ever seen
oh noooo, it's not patriotic if obamas angry, noooo if obama shows anger he's un-patriotic, un-american, and will not be allowed to be president.

Thanks for the nutcase paranoia example.

But don't worry, the US will let you keep your gun while they screw you with taxes. Go ahead and sit with your sidearm in hand waiting for the US military to parachute into your backyard. Should be any day now.
