Tetlo Rave 6 (analogue fun)

Post by hautlle » Sat Apr 10, 2010 10:50 pm

New track up. This one was made almost entirely with my new analogue friend the DSI Tetr4. Just spacey dancey fun. Feedback appreciated.

I don't know about this one. For some reason I just wasn't feeling it. It sounds to computerized and offers very little for the emotion. Moving rythmically but without... can't put my finger on it..... I listened to the full track but found myself waiting for it just to end. This in no way should mean anymore than... this particular track is not the one. Would be very interested in hearing what else you can do. Be not discouraged, keep at it. Not every song created is the 'BOMB'. Respectfully.

Nice sounds! I have a moog little phatty myself so not in the market for more analogue
anayways..

Comments:

1. The Drums are great! But I would personally add sidechain comp in this area; and I wouldn't overdo it-just enough so that it 'breathes.'

2. 4:40 and on the drums are nice!!! The glitchy stuff especially! You seem to be good at this!

have fun! I enjoyed listening.

Hey, that sidechain idea is actually a good one. Sidechaining is something I rarely use, but can really make a track come alive when used properly. Thanks for the kind words on the drums. I am a drummer at heart and that is what got me into all the crazy electronic music back in the day: the crazy cut up drums/beats. Thanks again, and I'll keep an eye out for any of your work.
