Newb seeks usb keyboard advice
So I recently bought an APC40 and I am enjoying it immensely. I would like to acquire a keyboard as the next addition to my set up. I'm trying to decide between the M-Audio Axiom25 and the Keystudio49i. Wondering if I need the pads and knobs of the Axiom since I have the APC40... any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Newb seeks usb keyboard advice
I thought about getting the i49 so I could access Pro Tools files with M-Powered software. Since I don't need to access Pro Tools file too much, I haven't taken the plunge. The Axiom is a pretty solid choice. I personally like it when a keyboard is more than a controller, having built in sounds. That's why I want to get the MicroKorg XL. It can be used as a USB controller, but the keys are smallish. I ended up buying a Akai Pro LPK25 to hold me over in the interim.

thanks HD... I think I'm actually going to go with the oxygen 49, lol! My friend who turned me on to Abelton says he loves his, and its almost half the cost of the 2 I was considering. That Akai looks like an awesome space saver though!

AAAARRrrGGHHH... I hate being a newb!
So, I changed my mind again and went with the Oxygen25, and now I have to map this thing so that it doesn't conflict with the APC! Soooooo... any of you knowledgable gents care to part with some ideas?
