I can do this on my old computer (Audigy interface), but apparently it's impossible with external interfaces? Is there no
video app that can simply write the audio output as a wave file? I know there's some mojo called "File Audio Output" in
VLC, but I've only had it working one time, and it has to write audio to an already existing file.
Any other way that doesn't involve routing audio back into the interface? I've been using a tool called "Acala DVD Audio
Ripper" in the past, but it just crashes on my Vista machine, as do other similar apps, it seems.
Video app that records audio output to disk?
