the next f***in bug!
whenever I punch-out in Arrangement view I get a "chrrrrk" and some handbrake effect when recording. The time laps for a few millisecs.
Live is getting UNUSUABLE and Support doesn't react either on my e-mails any more.
Needless to say I'm getting pretty pissed...
sorry wrong forum...should have put this to the beta stuff...

when you send report to
[email protected], their reaction is not to answer you but mainly to work on the bug reported.
it is the beta purpose, isn't it

i dont think its to bad to know about the bugs others experiance... you get motivated to try that and so others either can repeat it or not.. or at least avoid critical operations on stage.. after all many are trapped with the betas now and have to use them.. so i actually like to know about any problem with them..
So bugs should at least be posted in the bugforum as a refference, independent from log files directly send to ableton...
the crashing itself seems to be highly reduced in the actual versions... at least you dont read about crashes anymore..
i think thats a good sign... considering that people still post theire problems here...

yeah, it doesn't crash. but how useful is an app which doesn't crash but is not usable anyway?
Live is the best DAW on the market...but they HAVE TO get 8.x working flawlessly otherwise a lot of people will turn their backs on Ableton!
just my 0.02 EUR

@Tone Deft: well, yes kind of. had read that thread of taximouse before - and Dennis DeSantis' answers.
but the recorded clip itself is OK no clicks. it's just the punch-out that crackles and then weirdly slows down the whole set for a few ms. sounds likewise but not identical. when playing back everything is alright.
thanks for answering
