Ableton vs Native Audio 8 dj

Hello
few days ago i got my new soundcard but now i have new problems...
i hear lots of peaks when i write music, when i render it its okey but when i write its a bit shit.

i have intel core2duo 2.0, 3 gb of ram processor is loaded 60-70% any suggestions pls?

go itno the settings of audio 8 dj and increase the usb latency or the soundcard latency or both till clicks are gone.

same problems here, but I won't complain as I was using a pretty old PC when the crackles occured

You might want to increase the buffer on your card, if it is at say 256 than try a higher number like 512 or 1024 - until the clicks are gone. This will introduce some latency, but it will not really matter for writing music and if you are not syncing to any external sources.

Also are you using heavy plugins? If you are constantly hitting 60-70% in Live, then you may just be using too many heavy plugins for your computer to handle. Try freezing those plugin tracks and see if this helps.

i dont know i just use, reaktor, microtonic, zeta, predator :)

thanks it help me a bit, but i am using return channel and some time it delay a bit why?

also about cpu loading its after ableton 8.0.9 it load cpu, before that i have no problems... or maybe each time when i grow i use more effects :)

now i have other issue when i use sent to return track it do it with delay :(
